The objective of this project was to revamp the brand identity and create a line of merchandise for a selected museum. I chose the Thessaloniki Cinema Museum, a space dedicated to celebrating the history of filmmaking. The project began with a logo redesign, where I explored multiple concepts before finalizing a design. The chosen logo, a minimalist yet powerful representation of a film reel and projector beam, effectively conveys the museum's purpose while maintaining a modern and timeless appeal. Building on this foundation, I developed a cohesive merchandise collection that draws inspiration from iconic elements of cinema. Among the key products are clapperboard coasters, designed with references to classic films, adding a playful and collectible aspect to everyday items. The film reel keychains serve as a tribute to analog cinema, embodying nostalgia while remaining stylish and practical. The apparel collection features cinema-inspired t-shirts, each designed with unique graphic elements reflecting different aspects of film culture and the city of Thessaloniki. These designs aim to resonate with both casual moviegoers and passionate cinephiles, making the museum's identity more accessible and engaging through fashion. To further support the museum's promotion, I created a trifold brochure, incorporating visual elements reminiscent of classic film aesthetics, such as the film leader countdown. This not only reinforces the museum’s theme but also enhances the brochure’s visual appeal, making it an eye-catching and informative piece for visitors. Through this project, I aimed to blend design, functionality, and storytelling, crafting a fresh brand identity and product line that truly embodies the magic of cinema.
